Came in to visit from California, I had already researched a few places to try while in Huntsville, But quickly knew this was the one we needed to go to. And ohhh let me tell you, I left there feeling like I attended a family Sunday dinner, the food was amazing, the service amazing, the hospitality and just the wholesome love put into this food well, makes you want more. Although we were stuffed we were offered a sample of other items on the menu, And all of it was delicious, Mac n cheese, yams,cabbage, fried corn, ohh my!!! Now let me tell you about our chicken plate, fried chicken, northern beans, collard greens and hush puppies!! An Explosion of flavors! We will be back!Thank You Gs Kitchen!!

I love me some G's nowwwwwww! I'm a little upset that my corn was MAD cold though... I'll always be back. Some of the best southern food you gone eat and the employees make you feel like you at home with your cousins and aunties

This place was dynamite. Pot roast was one of the specials and it had me licking my plate clean it was so good. The hushpuppies, fried green tomatoes, mac and cheese and black eyed peas were all spot on. Service was excellent and the vibe of the whole place was just one of happiness. Three of us ate like pigs and got out of there for under $60 which I thought was a really good deal for all the food we had. Definitely go there but don't plan on being very active after you eat because you'll be full...
